My personal opinion is the game is CACK, even on the same level as gp08.
Constructive feedback, how useful...

I was thinking the same - come on, useful feedback!!
And no complaining for little things like unmappable controls which we can grow to get used to.... I want to know how the bikes feel, are they twitchy, nervous animals or brutes ready to be driven as hard as you want?
How deep is the handling, how fast does it feel, how does it feel to nail the perfect corner... etc. etc.

I wish there was mappable controls maybe that could be a DLC for the future lol.....erm the bikes are twitchy on the pivots though found turning the camera angle on helped this but then my turning was even more limited to slowing down more so than the pivot twitchy style one so that means there is a real different in those not just camera angle i dont think. The Graphics are good looks much nicer again but arr just isnt GP07 the tuck in is so anoying without being able to have mappable controls.....the tuck wouldnt be so bad probably if there was mappable controllers to work around the problem.....at the moment im still just looking at it all but theres no feel what so ever in the throttle there really isnt not compared to GP07 or any of THQs old Gps for that matter.....I really dont want to compare this game to GP08 cos GP08 just sucks all round. hold up i need a few more races on it.....why couldnt we just of had a mode where the powerslide was there but on a seperate leaderboard/game mode? you know no matter how much some people hate the powerslide it really brings in an art to the motogp game series and also throttle control and the whole learning curve element......theres not learning curve on this GP9/10 why .....and the sounds of the 800cc bikes is terrible anyway ive waited for this thing all night so going to play some more and see what happens

I apologise , I should have said dissapointing . I thought it was going to be as good as gp07 or at least a big improvment on gp08, maybe similar to sbk09 which BTW is a good game. Not being able to map the controls is a big issue for me as others have mentioned in the shoutbox. Players should have a choice not be forced to use presets.

oh and due to the none mappable controls ive had to go back to automatic I hate automatic why why no mappable controllers im sorry but everybody said mappable controllers and theres not even that so youve made me have to use automatic just because the sheer reason of getting bad hand cramps trying to use the stupid layouts for manuals....I even remember Hey joe and a few others brought this point up months ago why dont the developers hear us ..it feels like there against there fans why

So in summary there are too many people who can't leave the demo to give feedback - good sign.
And the downsides - lack of powersliding (woot!!), and lack of mappable controls (shame!!).
I doubt any of us will fully identify the depth (or potential lack of) until this has been played for more than a few days, especially those who used to love the powersliding aspect of THQ's games (which drove me away from the series!!)
I'm still eager to try it - come on 5:30, why are you not here yet?

Ben perhaps its just me having not raced a GP game in sometime now but I find there to be a pretty decent learning curve on this because of the tuck-in feature. However I'm like you, without mappable controls I find the tuck-in and changing gears/braking like I want to nearly impossible. Also I find the camera tilt in this game (if you have the option turned on) to be freaking excellent! Much better than the god-aweful camera/tilt view that was in THQ games.
I'm thinking the sound of the 800cc bikes is a bit 'muffled', is that the right word for it? Waiting to hear Curve's comments on the sound to be honest though
I think this game could just be the turn-around for the GP genre, but it has some very notable issues already.

Early Days but my initial reaction is very similar to Bens comments, that "Tuck" feature just doesn't sit right with me and that's using Auto, god help Manual...methinks should have been left as it was in Climax games even if some rubberbanded (I didn't).
I just feel it's kinda feeling like a car game but on two wheels, no real skill to speak of, just don't feel one with the bike for some reason, kinda like slow down enough, turn, accelerate.
Maybe it's down to the default set-up, remember how the bikes handled on default?

Im with you on that one, mappable controls is essential so why wasn't this taken into account ? Such a minor detail can spoil a game if not thought about properly. Whats more annoying is the fact that it was requested in the Q&A sessions only to fall on deaf ears.
