Brash Entertainment announced today that they are working on an interactive game based on the films , The game will apparently "weave" in and out of the actual movie storyline (Which of the 4 saw movies it is based on is yet to be seen or even if it is going to be all four)

The game will be using the Unreal Engine 3.0 and will be coming out on the 360 and the PS3 ...

Well we say "Coming Out" that's if it passes certification ... As we have seen with Manhunt 2 the BBFC have got very stringent with the Rating and Banning of games they see not fit for sale ...

Will this Saw game go the same way ? It remains to be seen ...

I would guess this might be ok as it's "based" on films that have all been in cinemas and are readily available on DVD.

Hehe.....The Daily Mail will have a field day with this one.

Torture, imprisonment and self-mutilation?.....yup, they'll love it!

but you just know as there always is that thers gonna at least be someone complaining as this isnt a perfect world after all

but i agree with fatman there shouldnt be any problems,

and this is why i dont understand why video games are seen as a cause of violence etc when films are alot more lifelike and realistic and some have much more explicit content ( no i dont mean porn )

i guess there's nothing, but if the same or simillar content (probably dulled down a little) is in the movie then can they really complain if it has an 18+ age rating
