So it seems there's more than what has been mainly publicised recently and Criterion have been very very busy.

The guys at Criterion have been working on 4 codenamed updates all bringing tons of stuff to the game. So here's a breakdown of each one.


Codename: Bogart
Status - Live

The massive update we recieved recently with all the in-game bug fixes.

Codename: Cagney
Status - Coming soon - May 31st.

70 New online challenges.

An update featuring more cars and liveries of previous cars.

One new car will be the Hunter Olympus. Which we've been told will be the first car in Burnout that has NO boost whatsoever, however it is very heavy, and slow to set off with. However once it maxes out, will be completely unstoppable with only colisions with buses and buildings being enough to stop you in your tracks!

As well as this car will be new liveries;

GT Tiger - A stunning livery for the Carson GT Concept

Tempesta Dream - An incredible livery for the Rossolini Tempesta.

And 2 designs from the fan competition, being the

Hunter Steel Oval Champ + Carson Hippie Van.

Bringing Motorcycles and Day to Night time cycles.




Codename: Eastwood
Status: Coming Fall 2008.
