• Official Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition – Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3

Designed for the serious Street Fighter enthusiast, nothing brings the arcade experience closer to home than the Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition. Overseen by Capcom and legendary producer Yoshinori Ono, the Tournament Edition features an unparalleled level of detail and uses arcade quality components. Sourced directly from arcade manufacturer Sanwa Denshi™, the FightStick: Tournament Edition uses the same Japanese style ball-handled joystick and 30mm Action Buttons found in the official Street Fighter IV Vewlix™ arcade cabinet, marking the first time such components have been used for a commercial product outside of Japan. With the D-Pad control switch, dual Turbo functionality for each button, and exact button layout matching the Vewlix Street Fighter IV arcade panel, the FightStick: Tournament Edition delivers an experience unlike any other arcade styled controller. Complete with detailed touches such as screw on rubber feet for solid surface play, unobtrusive placement of the Start and Select/Back Buttons along with a locking mechanism preventing accidental activation of Turbo settings for tournament play, the FightStick: Tournament Edition represents the best possible choice for the hardcore and dedicated Street Fighter fan.

“Mad Catz would like to thank our UK customers for their interest in our impending range of Street Fighter IV range of accessories. In the case of the Street Fighter IV FightStick: Tournament Edition for both Xbox 360® and PLAYSTATION®3, it is indeed true that this product was initially slated for a limited run of units.

Due to the unprecedented interest we are now experiencing from UK retail, it is clear that the demand for this product will far exceed the initial shipment of units available in the UK and thus, we will be working hard to meet day one shipments.

Though we will try our utmost to fulfill any and all demand, we can not guarantee that every customer wishing to purchase this premium product will be able to purchase the FightStick: Tournament Edition on the first day of release. While we work hard to meet demand we ask that customers remain patient and keep checking retail for updated delivery information.

Those wishing to guarantee their purchase of the FightStick: Tournament Edition may wish to note that the Mad Catz online UK store: www.gamesharkstore.net will be taking strictly limited pre-orders beginning the afternoon of Wednesday 14th January 2009. Orders on the store will be fulfilled strictly on a first come first serve basis and will only be available for purchase and delivery to mainland UK customers.

We thank you again for your interest and patience in this outstanding range of products and promise you all that it will be well worth your wait!

Regards,

Alex Verrey

Global PR & Communications Manager – Mad Catz Inc.”

From my understanding the FightPad's have been delayed until March 9th, 2009. They have received pretty good reviews as well. The sticks I'm not sure about on release/instock but I've read reviews that the $50 stick is garbage while the $150 one is really really good.

I definately want one of those FightPad's tho.

To be honest though the response/control in SFIV is much better than previous installments and I've actually found the 360 d-pad/analog to be working fine for me.
