Nintendo has updated the Wii firmware, now at version 3.1 to include full support for USB keyboards. Nintendo has yet to publish a full list of features for the 3.1 update however in addition to the keyboard support you can also expect to find:

* A few updates to the internet browser.
* Hyperlinks can now be sent through messages and links received on the Wii Message Board.
* Clicking on a link will automatically launch the Wii browser.
* An update to the Everybody Votes channel.
