Well the usual method would be to take the disc out of the case & put it in the 360, they generally then autorun & play for you.

But in your case I think you probably know what the problem is & this isn't the place to ask

I'd suggest puchasing your games legally next time..

Hmm i wasent talking about illegal games. i was talkin about a brand new game i purchsed out of ASDA for 39,99. they gave me a recipt saying i can get my money back if sealed is still closed, but then how was i suppose to play the game without opening the case.


so how can i get the game to work!

Exchange it with asda and tell them its faulty....

Well i'd say in that case that ASDA's policy is that you can buy games & return them again if unopened. (example: if say you got it twice as a birthday gift, you could return it, sealed)

The Reason:

They probably don't want to be treated as a rental service, if you want to get a game but may fear that you won't like it then its best to rent the game first

I get a message saying 'you need to put this disc into an XBOX360 to play' when I try and read my COD2 disc?

There are a few light surface scratches but nothing major.

Any ideas?

Got the same with my splinter cell :double agent, thinking of trying this boiling method! as i have nothing to lose now..

I used to get that Dover just on a couple of games to start with then it started to happen on every game, i had to send my 360 away to be fixed in the end.
