When we got there the location was rather random..... a Carpark, on the 3rd level, we entered the building, went to the elevator & pressed for the 3rd floor. Next to the 3rd floor elevator button were the words "MUSTARD" with an exclamation mark.......the lift took ages so we walked up.
Below is a pic of the word "MUSTARD" in larger text wrapping around the corridor walls.... or atleast I think it said Mustard

lol my mate (Mini Doughty) noticed the writing appeared to say something else
We then went to sign in, my name wasn't on the list

In the bag there was a COD4 T-shirt, tattoo transfers, Limited edition collectors cards, a COD4 Dog Tag with Boot Camp 28.03.08 printed on, some food rations (Pork Casserole, Fruit Biscuits, Oatmeal Blocks, mmm
We went through to the main area where there were 360's lined up all networked together with the new maps running. You could get some practice on the new maps before the tournament kicked off. They also had some wrecked/burntout cars to create the modern warfare atmosphere & a Large screen where you could watch the tournaments (which were performed in a seperate area behind the screen).
Ian Lee was hosting the show, talking to the crowd & commentating on the matches that were being shown on the large screen.

Mini Doughty playing.

Ian lee talking to the crowd. He asked everyone to raise their hand if they had never played COD4 before, up went Mini's hand, then Ian said, "What you've never played it? ever? everyone look out for him in the competition he'll be an easy target"

Ian Lee comentating on the competition where someone was playing the developer at their own game. The guy playing him won & won himself an Xbox360 plus games
While we were waiting around to get on a 360 pod to play on we went & got a free drink & sat at one of the tables. We were chatting away & over came a group of girls who were there with Joystick Junkies/infinity ward (You could challenge them to a game of COD4 & win the T-shirt they were wearing, which said "Win this T-shirt off my back") anyway they sat down started chatting & then asked us if they could put a tattoo transfer on us. We said, well where? they said anywhere, they said how about my chest but I brushed that off & then my mate said stick it on his head, so one of the girls said Yeah! lets put it on your head. Well I didn't want to dissapoint so there they were sticking a tattoo transfer on me
While they were doing it a couple of photographers who were there asked to get pictures of it & to get a picture of all of us, one of the photographers was taking pictures for an article they were going to be doing in the US.
Here's some pics my mate got.

that was a good laugh
Anyway, after all that Ian Lee came out to get the competition underway. We were going in groups of 36, first went the group who were handed the number 1 cards on entry. The rounds last 10 minutes, on the new maps & on free for all. The top 3 from each group of 12 (36 people split into a further 3 groups) would go through to the next round to win the prizes.
After groups 1 & 2 had finished it was mine & my mates turn (his first time on the game, well except the 20 mins warmup on the 360 pod)
We played, I died lots, got some good kills & came about 8th of 12
The new maps were good, the one the first round in the tournament was on was quite open but due to noone knowing the layouts properly alot of people were justing running around all over the place, I kept going down a dead end all the time.
The map brought over from Call of Duty 2 (although now updated, called Carentan on cod2) was good fun, close combat. Plenty of kills on that map & should be great over LIVE.
Well with us out of the competition we decided to make a move. It was a good laugh.
Thanks to Mush for the opportunity the go
p.s. I got alot of looks in the bar we went to afterwards & on the way home
Below are some more pictures
