I had a couple of races with this one chap, but there's nobody online anywhere, at all, no lobbies found. It was all very smooth etc but there are no people?

Had a few good races just go to custom then search you should find something

Maybe just a quiet evening Jim keep trying im sure it will come good ! My 360 is dying and only lasts about 10 mins b4 it shuts down. Hence i have'nt bought the game yet but ive been having a few looks just to see what im missing and there is def plenty of action from the usual suspects on my friends list.

I need a new 360 Bummer !!

Still its me birthday Friday so heres hoping !

I've found the same, the online experience (so far) is a lot nicer than last years effort but hardly anyone seems to be playing, the few lobbies that have been open close very quickly once a dominant player starts kicking peoples backsides.

One other thing: are bike set-up's from single player work online aswell ?, i'd altered gear ratios's in single player & had improved my lap times on Philip Island, i saved my set-up - went online, entered a lobby that was about to race P I & loaded the set-up and it didn't change a thing !

Oops posted nonsense and cannot delete, was saying how I just found you supposedly can use bike set ups online. It may actually work but not sure, hard to tell.

I have noticed some strangeness with loaded custom setups in multiplayer too. (like in '08)
I spent the last week setting up my bike, 13 setups for the 13 tracks. but when i load my setups it is definately not right.. almost feels like the gear ratios are forced to default settings. The handling felt ok and the tyres seemed like the compounds i set-up but the pace is at least 4 or 5 seconds off my pace in training/time-attack

A good lap for me on Extreme, manual gears on Losail with my setup is 1'48 - 1'49 but when online a practically perfect lap on Simulation, manual gears on Losail last night i couldnt get less than 1'53 with the same setup
