Like with great games and movies that are totally awesome! People tend to do more of the same thing, but better. These are often called sequels. They make loads of cash and "spice up the flavour a bit" as they say. Because as a wise man once said "if it aint broke, don’t fix it!"
So without anticipation, Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer demo! Review, right here, right now, kicking out the jams. "Let's do this" as Leeroy Jenkins would say.
So, these dudes look pretty bad ass to say the least when it comes to shooter characters in video games. The customizability is great, the guns look cool. Fabulous.

So first off I had a whirl on Data Post Battle with a bunch of folks online. AKA to most people, capture the flag and control the points in the game sort of jobby. Pretty simple really you control these data post things and who ever has the most wins the game! Pretty cool to say the least.
I don't know if it’s my blatant mind numbing desensitization to first person shooters. But at first this made me grunt at the style of shooter this game is. I'm not saying that it is terrible. But for some people who might be really into their Halo's and COD's or whatever. FPS I’m talking here. This 3rd person shooter may take some getting used to at a first glace.
As for the actual game play. To quote a famous person: "There’s nothing like the rush of hunting people down and shooting them in the head". See image for reference, lol! This really does apply in this demo; it does have something left to be desired in the "shooter" genre. The game play is paced really well which is great. But there is no real give off and excitement to the plasma and laser "pew pew pew" explosions and the "oh I just got killed" feeling from this game. This left me, and I imagine it may leave some of you, with a sort of dull feeling when there is no tension in the game play and self preservation to your character.

Because after all this is a shooter, and if you don't have that "pow" factor when you get an awesome kill streak. Things will get quite "meh" quickly. But not to say it isn't cool. However some players of this game who are used to seeing more realistic brain matter and blood all over the map may have to hold tight, as its non existent in Lost Planet 2.
However to stop being a depressing old lady for a second. The running around and "grapple hook" feature is really awesome! I remember back in the day when playing 007 on original xbox with the grapple hook thing, it added depth to getting around a map. And in Lost Planet 2 it really is great and has a whole level of dynamic. As for the visuals, the game is very pretty. However I did notice a bit of screen tear sometimes, when a lot is going on at once.
Finally this game would be better if you could actually aim instead of moving the character as you shoot. Overall an interesting game, definitely worth playing, however if your shooter phobic be very cautious. 5/10
