I herd some time ago that the release date had been pushed back to November time but wasn't sure on an actual date.
I hope you guys will be able to compete with us in Europe, thats what i'm looking forward to !!

Didn't come in yesterday. Local Gamestop said it was in shipping today, but now their computer is saying pushed back to release on Dec 7th.

It's just like the some of the other Black Bean releases here. It'll probably be pushed back about 5 times then cancelled. Or it'll come out 4 months after SBK 11 hits EU. hah.

Deep Silver are the guys bringing this one over. This is completely frustrating. I will be trying to contact them today to find out what the story is. This is quite frustrating

This is the lame ass excuse I got from these guys regarding the new release date...

Hi Marcus,

Our apologies for the delay. The product is coming out of manufacturing as I type, but due to retailer requests, we have been asked to not ship the title until early December. Unfortunately we cannot ship to some retailers (those who are ready for it now) earlier than others without causing a rift.

Deep Silver acquired the North American publishing rights after the title was already released in Europe. We then needed to make changes to the code so it would work on North American systems (as well as some minor localization changes) and then go through the Sony and Microsoft code approval process.

I know this doesn't fix the problem for you, but I hope it helps you to understand the reasons behind the delays. The December release is firm and we hope you can hold on just a bit longer.

This game has been revmoved from the Gamestop system. They are not taking pre-orders for this anymore, and not ordering any to stock. Their system doesn't say "cancelled" officially, but the Dec date was changed and the game removed last week. I seriously doubt we'll see it.

milestone have definitely missed a trick with how they approached the release of SBK X. having got a copy of motogp (today) i think SBK is a better game, why would they produce a game and then keep people from playing each other, it is just a waste of time.
even though i think SBK is the better game, if i had known about the region locked rubbish (not to say they haven't even got the game yet) i would have got motogp in the 1st place and stayed away from SBK

Good to see some familiar user names from the old Capcom forum. Same boat as y'all, pre-ordered this months ago on Amazon. I don't care too much about a couple months delay, but not getting it at all would suck. Didn't really care for SBK 08 for 360 -- the frame rate would drop too much in the pack just when you really need to finesse your way through, so I'm looking forward on an improvement in that department.

Looks like the usual swamp over in the MotoGP topic, with the usual suspects sniping back and forth over a deteriorating franchise. I didn't even buy or rent MotoGP 09/10 -- who needs the headache? If the devs didn't learn their lesson about making a MotoGP arcade game the last time around, pages and pages of debates and suggestions for MotoGP 10/11 is just going to be a bigger waste of time.

Maybe, but this was all hashed out by people whose opinion I trust about these things: curve, Logger, etc.

I haven't heard anyone say MotoGP09/10 has more realistic physics than MotoGP08, and I thought that game had arcade-y physics.
