One of the first titles I got to sit down with and play was Assassins Creed Brotherhood. The multiplayer was the only available game type, but gave a good insight to what the game mode played like. The game type playable was a free for all in a sense. Each player is given a specific character, and as you start, your given a contract on one of the other players. You must then hunt down your prey without alerting them to your presence. The sneakier you are, the more points you’ll get.
Although, its not quite as easy as that. As its always easy to forget, someone out there also has a contract on YOU. So not only do you have to be aware of your contracts location and what he’s doing, but you’ll also have to keep looking over your shoulder in case you have a shadow of your own.
The game play heavily rewards being calculative and careful on your attacks. You can get 10 kills by running around like a loonatic, but it only takes 3-4 creative and careful kills and you’ll be top of the table. The sneakier you are, the more points you’ll gain. However, the higher up the points table you are, the more people will get contracts out on you at a time.
Assassins Creed Brotherhoods multiplayer uses all the great parts about the single player and throws it into the online world with some fun matches to be had. Keep a look out for more Assassins Creed Brotherhood information closer to release.
