appart from the normal stuff i have a concern i mentioned to rockgod and spaced picked up on.

if im racing with all the abs tc off etc will i still be able to compete with the lads with it on.
if not i see issues, what will the sim lads do if we cant compete.turn it all on ? ah but then we have what we didnt want.
its a tricky one and im hoping its an even playing field because if we all go arcade style and the 2012 devs see this......oh no what have we done!!!!!!.

anyone know any info about this???
pete.

Hopefully this isnt the case as i for one wouldnt bother to turn it on. I will be heading straight back to SBK.
There is a slight element of this in SBK off the start line. The guys using auto always get the better start off the line when racing manual riders.

Not sure how it'll work to be honest, unless you get a bike stat increase for every aid you switch off, that's probably the only fair way to do it .

Thinking about it, I suppose if switching all aids off makes the bike faster ONCE you master it then fair enough that'd be OK, as that would enable new-comers to race alongside veterans in a lobby. Those who want a challenge may be off the podium for a while although safe in the knowledge they'll come good eventually. Those that don't have the time to put in may win at first but later may consider the challenge worth the effort once the podiums disappear.

That's the "ONLY way" Charlie. Surely otherwise it would just be pointless ?

I just put this question to my 16yr old son who has played MotoGp but is not really into racing games and that is exactly the answer he gave me.

It seems like a fairly straight forward answer to the whole "Arcade v Sim" system but as we all know from past experience this is something the developers can easily get wrong.

With the new assist system they have in place which looks like an ON/OFF system who knows how its going to work ?

I have got lost in all the threads now but do seem to remember "Ryan" stating that the handling was something like "100 times better" ! but how that will equate into our world of online racing who knows ?

Still not long now till the Demo if Monumental / Capcom stick to their promised release date of February  I mean c'mon it is the shortest month and we are already over a week in !

5 weeks 2 and half days and counting

Hope its Killer !

Monumental i have Faith in You :icon13:

ah but some dont want full sim.
i think most will race the fastest way they can.if you cant stop them.
it may be a combo of the two but if we are to have no tc or abs i think that may cost you more than you can gain.
we shall see but im not sitting 5secs a lap back just to race full sim.it wont take long to turn people if they keep getting battered and what if they improve more than you !!

all if buts and maybe.

hoping it goes well.

We'll all have a more definite opinion as to what works only when we get to try it.
