Where will the set-up load from?

I realise we will be able to alter the set-up in a lobby but is it a default set-up that loads or the last set-up you used for that bike & rider anywhere in the game. Plus if you tweak that set-up in a lobby will that stay with the bike and rider next time you enter a lobby.

Actually, that's an easy one to answer right now.

The setup used for the bike & rider comes from anywhere in the game, whichever mode it’s changed in carries over across the entire game (inc. Online).

The key difference between 09/10 and 10/11 is that in 09/10 the setups were saved per track as well, so it was per bike & rider and per track. So Mugello could be setup differently to Assen say for the same bike / rider. We thought that would give the player the ultimate control but it wasn’t sign posted very well and caused confusion from one track to the next with users expecting the setup they had made in a different track to continue onto the next.

So in 10/11 it’s just per bike/rider.

Cheers Steve, that's handy at least as we'll not have to write down/dial in the settings every time.

Hi Steve, I'm extremely new to MotoGP gaming, as the 10/11 Demo is my first experience!
Is there any preferences online that beginners like myself can choose, so we race against people of the same(ish) standard? Or are we doomed to be back markers until we've reached our peak? I know from experience a game become less entertaining if all you're doing is fighting for the last few places on the grid!

Hey Steve, Can you talk to them this week and ask where the heck the US demo is? I don't have a PS3, just a 360 and don't plan on buying a PS3 just to play a demo. This is ridiculous, reminds me of the SBK BS.

Will the lobbies have best lap time for each rider? We need something to talk about whilst waiting for others to have a leak / roll a smoke or get s drink! ;-) Such a simple add on surely it's gotta be there???

Nicholas Simonovski asks "I felt MotoGP 09/10 wasn't authentic at all - mainly due to the overly arcade and extremely dated menu style and HUD. Is this game any different and how else have you tried to please the actual MotoGP fans who want to buy a good MotoGP game?" Thanks! (PS - that is not meant as a sledge at all.)"

Will the performance of the different teams and manufacturers be accurate to real life? i.e different handling, top speed characteristics that ultimately boil down to the bikes being pretty even to allow for a good mix on the grid when racing online. I'm thinking the oversight with Randy De Puniet's bike being head and shoulders above the rest in 09/10.

Will we be able to develop our career bike enough to compete with an official bike? Some may say they developed theirs to the same or even a higher level but I never could.

More rumble / controller vibration on spin up / sliding and skidding would complete this game.
An adjustable level of vibration to the controller would be even better as I'm sure the range or strength of vibration would differ greatly from person to person if that's even possible ?
Is this sort of thing possible through a patch ?

Thanks

Paul

Turn tc off and u can slide till Ur hearts content. Especially in cockpit view it is f ing insane. Do agree with more rumble though. Again with tc off u can feel alot more rumble and the bikes definitely have more of a kick to them and feel much more alive. Just gotta be super light on that throttle in the bottom gears. Spinning up in 2nd and 3rd coming out the last bend is a crackin buzz and I'm crossing the start/finish line a good 5-10 mph quicker than wen I'd use tc. Games great cannot wait for the full version

Hi

We're currently trying to get more info from MS regarding the US demo. As soon as I have an update I'll post in the forum for you.

Real Great to have you back Steve. The communications between us and you guys is going to prove very profitiable in the end, by having a great game and by getting more to play it.

Hi all

I have just managed to win my 1st race on insane with tyre wear on / TC off / front and rear brake assists on / auto tuck on / manual gears.

It would be really interesting to hear at this point who would like to make the AI faster on "Insane" !
The races I'm having are awesome and I'm guessing that the fastest ai bike is lapping in the 1:48's or maybe slightly quicker.
I think the fastest guys are currently lapping in around sub 1:42's
So if the developers were to up the ai what sort of laptimes would/should we be looking at?
I mean realistically how many guys are going to improve on 1:42's and I'm pretty sure only a handful will ever achieve them laptimes ? I may be wrong maybe many more will ?
In the career mode what will
Be the benefit of winning on "insane" ?
Can anyone explain what sort of career finishing position
Will be needed to get a factory offer? Or does it nor
Work like that ? ( I know maybe have 2 wait till we get the game to find out :). )
If insane gets made harder will all the other modes automatically increase too ???
Would like to say that with headphones on and Onboard the sound is absolutely awesome :) especially the yam when you battle with Rossi or Lorenzo you guys have done a top job on the sound also the Ducati. :)
Absolutely superb

Thanks

Paul
