It looks like MotoGP 08 Sale for Xbox 360 in NA were 111K units; where as PS3 Sales were 60K. MotoGP 09/10 were 30K for PS3 in North America; where as Xbox 360 sold 40k. "

Thats cool thanks Mushy! Yeah I figured as much. I would LOOOOOVE to hear the figures from Capcom themselves. Just a shame really. Capcom kills motogp. That should be a headline.

MotoGP 09/10 sales:
(XBOX) Worldwide total: 109.809
(PS3) Worldwide total:158.910
http://gamrreview.vg...15/motogp-0910/
http://gamrreview.vg...16/motogp-0910/
TOTAL SOLD COPIES: 268.719
I wouldn’t call that many sales of a motorcycling racing game a total failure!
SBKx sales:
(XBOX) Worldwide total: 67.086
(PS3) Worldwide total: 109.787
http://gamrreview.vg...d-championship/
http://gamrreview.vg...d-championship/
TOTAL SOLD COPIES: 176.873
And yes, these figures are up-to-date, and yes SBKx was only recently released in the US, but the market in the US for these type of games are no match for the sales in Europe as can be seen in the graphic-charts clicking on the links above.
so the monetary difference in sales was around 2 million USD, (50,000 copies x $40 USD per unit= $2,000,000)

ok great! Now look at the volume of sales the US brought in that they are thumbing their noses at! Capcom had killed of the series with bad games then holds America hostage with their inability to produce a good game. Shame on capcom for being a delinquent game company. This also goes to prove how weak capcom is that they don't produce the game for the US. Now it starts.

It seems a little over the top. No one from the PC community seem to go ballistic because of a lack of PC versions for 2009/10 and now 10/11... You always have the opportunity to play the game on the Playstation3 as it will be released in the US... Why is it Capcoms fault? I know its nice to race with your friends but you can always make new friends. Sign of the times fellas! Get over it.
Microsoft is ditching niche titles slowly but surely...

The PC community are mostly playing on hi end rigs that most of us couldn't or wouldn't spend that kind of money on. A console is a lot cheaper than a gaming PC. I'd like to have a dedicated rig for car games as the PC community has arguably the best in that regard. I could buy a PS3 but why should I have to. The online is weak compared to the Xbox and I have a blu-ray player.

Here is your choices- Buy a Ps3 and MotoGP 10/11 or don't. After all isn't it really about the game not the platform?
In all honestly, when you compare a game like MotoGP to Black ops its a pee on.. Its a minority/niche and its better suited for companies like Black Bean/Milestone. I honestly think Capcom had great intentions and were a little to quick to change hands and now its a wash.
PS- in all fairness I understand the frustration, been there over and over..

The point is no one should have to buy/change the platform they are playing on especially when the Xbox community have had MotoGP games since 2001/2002 and an Xbox 360 version will be available in Europe.
The majority posting here want to play on Xbox Live with their friends not on PSN if the latter was the case then there would be no problem.

Good point! But same can be applied to PC as well.. We're all gamers right? So when a niche titles is pulled from a platform be it any it hurts the genre. In the long run its all politics..
GP500 was released in 1999 on PC and the THQ series there after starting from MotoGP URT/ til Capcom took over and GP08 was the last PC version. See my point? (twiddle's thumbs)
I guess my captivation reading here is everyone's mutiny towards Capcom, kind of uncalled for wouldn't you say?

Yeah its unfortunate. No MotoGP is like being in a weird limbo.
note- Outside of my personal opinion about the 10/11 demo I can see how some would be satisfied within this community, after all its all about the circle.

oops sorry. Its true there are 2 versions coming out on March 18th NSTC/Pal PS3/Xbox360, problem is only a PAL version for xbox360 because sales figures were obviously to low here (US) for Capcom to lose anymore money they invested in the Dorna license. The PS3 version is a moot point as its exactly the same, meaning no region locking etc...
