MGP2 "Games on Demand" discussion what's the chances?

I know many will maybe say what's the point? Well I should imagine many of us would relish tryin' that game out again, whilst there's a heap of new players that have joined "Live" since back then who'd maybe find it refreshin' to just flow through a game that did "work" on many levels.
Cost to produce? no idea but considering all the money thrown at the series since then and especially noting the last two years results, in comparison then it's gotta be worth a punt.
Anyone think it's worth tryin' to get some sort of ball rollin' ie emails, petition, etc.? I can see many will maybe say "not a chance" but you never know until you try.
It's not JUST the fact the latest versions have serious problems that has raised this thought , it's ALWAYS been in the back of my mind. The present situation and uncertainty regarding the series future does kinda add to the commercial sense.
Besides which the topic resurrects what was once a thriving discussion, something Capcom has killed along with the series.

cheers Pete.
I don't expect the "topic" to light up with responses as Capcom have more or less killed anything to do with a MGP game, there's been no new posts for months on Capcom Unity and Capcom Europe has only had a "trickle" .
Some may respond with "futile", maybe it is but maybe it isn't judging by the "market" at present.

It would be awesome if they could make a MotoGP THQ arcade Bundle with a load up screen of all the five titles on, Select the one you want to play with full Online and leaderboards for each. Oh Wow is that just being greedy? Can always dream.
I hear in some places they trade-in there wives for Camels, That guy must of really want a Camel.
We all really want a decent MotoGP game again...

Exactly how I feel Pete. It always gets a reaction when mentioned and normally in a good light for a fun game. There's loads of videos on Youtube and again most of 'em are well into the tens of thousands viewing wise.
I also don't really know who to contact, normally MS just give you a generic reply. Climax went through various stages but I have just sent an email to their present business address, I also included this link for 'em to read, sent THQ one as well.
As Pete says, anyone got any ideas?

I realise there's all sorts of hoops that would need jumping through ie license, code rights, etc but all of the companies involved are in the business to make money, that's how games come together and get released. From where I'm sittin' the outlay would be no-where near as much as the latest offerings whose return must have been pretty dire.
As it is I can throw MGP2 into my new slim and it works, bar the right trigger/leaderboards/rank. There's got to be an opening for someone to take a punt.

Absolutely.
A lot of people are going to have to make a lot of noise just to have the remotest chance of making this happen.

AGREE loci
The sad fact is that a vast number of gamers have probably had enough of the bugs, whilst those that fervently followed the series have had enough of "rattling cages" so won't waste their time.
A good idea for companies would be to examine why that apathy exists, I don't think it's down to not wanting to play a MGP game, more that they can't be bothered with the mess.

lets do this!!! but in the correct way.
we need a new topic, not for talking and chit chat but a list of names, and this forum must be labeled as such so it doesnt get sidetracked.we must get everyone who ever played a bloody bike game on it....everyone,no ifs n buts,we all have computers.
if we ever deserved this it would be now...what have we to loose?
joe, what do you think? i stuggle getting stuff right here,it would be good if you could set the topic rolling if you think its worth doing.
spread the word people.....if you want gp2,lets make it happen!
remember, spredding the word takes time, dont loose faith.we want this

Started a new topic for a head count here http://www.xboxlivea...998#entry322998
Let me know if it's worded or titled incorrectly (in here as it'd be tidier).
Please people contact as many tags new & old for support, you never know.
Anyone know how to "Tweet"
I'm throwing a cover shot on YouTube to a backing track of "Working my way back to you Babe" with an explanation along with the link. It may get "pulled" pretty quick due to copyright music issues but I've been lucky with permission on two previous uploads. If it does stick then I'll post a link to that video on every video to do with MGP2 on YouTube (eventually)
It wont get pulled as that track has been approved, the link to here is on the YouTube page explanation. Sorry I didn't have time to do more graphics but i my PC grinds to a halt these days when asked to sing whilst dancin' (bit like me
The first few verses bring a tear to my eye, and the wife on the phone to her solicitor.
