art form my little behind...pressing a button twice then off you go,any line it dont matter...im not so sure.

yes only a few had the magic trick but i dont see it as harder than the moddern bike games infact i think on the whole it was an easy game.now there are far more setup combo's on sbk and you need to find a proper racing line.

Sorry for the thread butchering but just have to say this and anyway the hams already cut. lol

Right just one little thing Lines was VERY important in all the THQ MotoGP games that was the whole reason why the powerslide was used to get the best out of them lines, It was not a fact of just tapping the throttle and getting the slide because thats just slideing and would send to the moon or be so useless that the tyre would be spinning way too much and lose momentum out the corner. It was about mastering all the factors brakes lines Gears setups etc and Powerslide and useing it how much to wear it works and extracting the best out of it, cutting it in with feathering brake and other times useing the power. Every line had to be perfect apex to apex, Rumble strip to rumble strip sure you could run wide and have to sacrifice and then powerslide(or other options ie feather front brake also) would help to pull back in but that would be a recovery line and like in all racing games recovery lines are slower. The Most Important thing about MotoGp THQ games is the Lines and always has been. Powerslide isnt hard and powerslide isnt what makes the speed in THQ MotoGP games. But it is fun and on the limit. Its all the elements and Lines are so important and Powerslide does not make them lines it just gets the best out of them. As if turn the Powerslide off hit same lines but slower because of course the powerslide is to carry the maximum momentum on them lines, NOT TO MAKE THE LINES, Lines is so Important in THQ MotoGPs.

But saying all that, Like said before times have Changed and Bike Games have gone down hill since 2008, this has resulted into the games Losing there fun factor, Community and sadly alot of it's soul. The Developers just dont seem to love it these days :(

We are all the Losers this time....

Trouty, pic up MototGP2 for the PC and give it a go mate, there still loads play it on line through gamespy and you can rig up a wired xbox controller to work spot on. It's definitely still the benchmark if you want a FUN racing experience. I enjoy the new games when you get in a decent room with a good bunch of people but otherwise I can't be arsed with them. I could still pass hours TT-ing on Gp2 or GP07 though, and that's the difference, they're fun to play, not a chore

yes i do understand lines are important but being offline was not as much of a punishment as it is today,is that a better way of putting it.....maybe. :beamme:

sbk is apex to apex,i dont see sbk as a bad game compaired to thq, they both do what it says on the box quite well.

can you say sbk is more realistic?(if i can say that of a game) far more i think.infact im 100% sure.

but does sim make a game? no,it takes far more...people,chat,close racing, feel, colours, representation of a sport eg rules n regs.it doesnt have to be full on sim locking rear on a button  racing for people to have fun.take PGR for example,a fantastic car racer but no sim in sight.

thq had the majority if ingredients needed to make a game work, sbk has them too.people just need to get involved.its starting to change in lobbys day by day as more people are starting to talk now. WHY DONT PEOPLE TALK!!! i have never known a game like it.but it is getting better. :turned:

remember its sbk,not moto gp...moto gp2 or 1 is thq and sbk is milestone. i like them both, and why not

i like racing bikes :woot:

one day moto gp 1 and 2 will be on the dash,it may be 5 years and my hands will be full of cockney disease but it will happen, look at the old crap they give us,soon moto 2 will fit that bracket.....i garantee it.sooner or later, the sooner they do it the quicker someones going to cash in too

right enough of this fantasy pap....bed.

The thing that crosses my mind if they were to bring MotoGP2 to games on demand is the translation of the old Xbox controller not functioning properly as I do remember there being a problem with the triggers on the emulation of GP2 to 360 as a backwards compatible game.. ?

There has always got to be that one little thing..
