Maybe im missing the point of it but gave it a good go for a few matches and i just don't see anything in it to make it stand out. As long as they have at least a few minor changes to the upcoming Cod, i don't think it will be much of a contest. Was playing along though so with a squad might be compleatly different.

I'd been playing for about 10 minutes when, from the corner of my eye, I happened to notice the paint on my wall had most definitely changed colour. It was drying nicely and, keen not to miss further exciting developments, I gave up with BF3 and settled back to watch the show.

After playing it at eurogamer I was dissapointed, it didn't look all that, like the trailers had shown. They'd obviously been showing it off on full pc specs as on pc it looked really nice.

The aiming felt so sluggish aswell, wasn't smooth at all compared to MW3 & actually had trouble looking through the sights on BF3, all the mates I went with thought the same.

Yep, a beta that comes out only a month before the games release, seems reasonable to judge it to me.

Yep, if you love a beta then you will probably love the game. If you hate the beta...you may have to consider that the game isn't for you.

Personally im probably going to rent it because the campaign will probably be alot of fun but i doubt that in a period of 1 month, the multiplayer will get the huge changes to allow me to be interested in it

You dont actually think the beta has only JUST come out?

Theyve probably been using this beta version to show it off since E3 and probably before then. Im pretty sure they would have worked on it a little more by now P

its apparently the same as what they used to alpha test, so I wouldn't judge on this model of the game.

It's a BETA not a demo, I would expect the full game to be much better.

No I know that Mech, I read a while ago that the beta was an 11 months old ish version or something.

Which to me is rather strange, why release an 11 month old version, 1 month before release that to me doesn't come across all that well.

Either way its put me off it, with so many other games coming out it doesn't really mater, I actually cancelled a load after trying them at eurogamer.

Yep, after playing it I just didn't feel an urge to want to play it more & knowing how long forza careers are I thought better to just cancel it & save the money.

F1 has my racing needs covered for a fair while.

Hmm I'll give you that, it does strike as strange. They have even started fixing the bugs in the beta.

One thing though was there was none of these bugs in the eurogamer model. The times i played it at EG were actually alright. No issues at all.

I will say Skyrim got me abit giddy, it looked beautiful on the LED TV's they had there

& I may pick up Saints Row 3 yet, as I did like it, just depends how much time I have for it when it comes out.

Absolutely loathed it... roll on Modern Warfare 3. Bad Visuals, full of server errors - I just gave up. I know it's an old build though, but I'm not likely to buy this...

I was yet to find anyone happy with the visuals??? still good to know the 2nd disc contains an optional Hi-Res install pack to fix the crappy look of the game... Now I'm a little more keen...
