visuals didn't seem terrible to me. Though at the same time they didn't feel like an improvement over the previous 20 FPS games it looks almost identical to. Brown and gray! woooo!

I think that's why I am more than ready for a new Xbox console now & maybe most others who've been on the 360 since day 1 feel the same? The 360 has reached the point of no improvement, and it's just all about the sequels now.

I know visuals aren't everything - I really enjoyed Deadly Premonition and that looked just awful, but was great to play - and I was a little disappointed with the Battlefield Beta if I'm honest in many different ways. I know it is just a Beta and not anything overly representative of what we'll play on launch day (if I do actually get it) but from a marketing perspective like Halo Reach & Gears 3, it is also a 'first impression'. Other Beta's made a good first impression, but this I really don't think has overall! It just makes me wish I had a great gaming PC to enjoy it at its best.
