I found this on sixthaxis .Monumental Games, developer of Moto GP 10/11, has gone into administration. The studio had shifted focus over the last year to browser based games, including Little Horrors which used Monumental’s own Prime engine.

Monumental’s journey has been a bumpy one. In 2010 Monumental had to close its Manchester studio and then let more staff go after a project was unexpectedly cancelled. The company had been looking for companies and partners to help fund and use the Prime engine.

Monumental has a global presence with offices also based in India. The future of Monumental and its staff remains uncertain.

As a company, good riddance. Sorry for those losing their jobs though.
Talented individuals will always find new jobs and those responsible for certain "features" of the game can perhaps look at doing something else for living.

Very sorry to hear that !

Monumental could have been so close to giving Motogp the finishing touches the game needed .... but now we are back to square one ! :(

With nothing else in the pipeline Not good news.

Just saw this on CVG, whilst I can never forgive them for making moto gp gaming f.u.b.a.r, I really do have sympathy for all those guys. It must be a terrible thing to have to face.

Pity, the complete fiasco of MGP can't have helped. I spent many hours on their games but always the little guy on my shoulder was moanin' at me due to various shortcomings. If a book was ever released containing all the details regarding Monumental/Capcom 09/10/11/12 I'd love to read it and see who exactly decided what on every level.

I honestly feel "live" for me was a "time & place" that's kinda gone, just play pinball these days. That's not to say I'm not interested anymore just there doesn't seem to be the motivation for me as I only ever played MGP from xbox release day way back.

Mind some good years I've seen, the best being the MGP2 years.

Good Riddance in my honest opinion !

They never did the game justice in all their attempts ...

Its a shame that Disney decided to buy and kill Climax, a decent dev that was doing a fine job had it ripped from their grasp to be taken over and destroyed ...
