So come on then, lets get talking about this weeks series of conferrences, Microsoft have just left the stage and lets face it, it wasnt their strongest of line-ups and their focus was once again a little more on entertainment than it was the games that we all know, love, want to play and actually bought an Xbox for, so what do you guys think?

You can also keep up to date on all the footage from this weeks announcements in our E3 2012 thread, jump in there and have a gander at the games your after and interested in (dont forget to share out the links to your mates and rate the games your most excited about) and come and 'ave a chat in 'ere.

I think to say they are now 'ringing the neck' on the lifespan of the current generation of console, it was a pretty strong line up! Looking forward to Xbox SmartGlass, and of course Halo 4 and it's good to see Kinect being used in a more 'hybrid' way, trying to enhance the experience (good example is EA Sport, with their new releases in Madden 13 and FIFA 13) rather than a gimmick or a replacement for the remote.
The line-up of games will definitely keep me entertained, I have a keen eye on Splinter Cell: Blacklist and the Lara Croft reboot.
Disappointed in Turn 10, and Forza Horizon however. As the console's main out and out racing simulator, it's a shame to see them move away from that.
No word on Skype coming to the 360, which was one of the things I was hoping for, but for Internet Explorer to be coming to Xbox, that is a great boost for people like me, who struggle to afford a laptop also

Dont scorn Forza Horizon just yet.

It isnt actually made by Turn 10. Whilst Turn 10 do have contribution, the majority of the development is by Playground Studios, a company which consists of former employees of Codemasters and Bizarre Creations to name a few.

As MR said Forza Horizon is not taking the place of Forza Motorsport it is just branching out, Im guessing to do with Microsoft wanting to release it once every year Forza Motorsport 5 will be out next year which will be the normal way.

Also FH looks really good, interesting to see how it plays out as they say should have the same physics in an open world. What I've wanted for along time especially since TDU 2 failed.

Halo 4 is looking to come together nicely though better than expected.

Either that or potentially alternate between the 2 games on a 2 year cycle. so you'd have the "track" forza one year, and the "road" one the next etc.

Agree with that Mech, it looked really good although I would of liked Criterion to do another Burnout, especially back in the direction of Revenge.

Oh definately, we're long due a Burnout, but at least they're reviving the best times of NFS for us.

Blacklist does look good however;

- Micheal Ironside no longer the voice? It certainly didnt sound like it.
- When the hell is this set? When the trailer started I didnt think it was Sam Fisher but it is.
- Not overly chuffed the lazy kill everyone button is back but it still did look cool.
- what the heck is with that airstrike ability? No thanks.

It's still very much stealth-based, and seems to be even more of planning your next or two move/s - which is right up my street!
