What is wrong with my PS3 controller? What is wrong with my PS3 controller?

I recently bought an original new blue PS3 controller and it has been acting crazy with the battery massages i charged till the max and 1 hour later it displayed the battery notification and kept displaying it (like whenever it closes it pops again automatically(but it stops after sth like 30 mins)) so i checked how much battery is left and it turns out is 3 dashes full,and when it is one dash full it makes the same but no stop till the controller is plugged in.
Please Help.
