Lord knows I've tried many times to introduce the PC version of MotoGP2 to the members of Xboxliveaddicts and may have gathered 1 person maybe 2, but the point is I see posts of nostalgia concerning MGP2 in the games on demand thread and wonder to myself "why not just play it on PC?" I am truly baffled by this..

Honestly, its not that hard to install everything you need to play MGP2 on PC. Infact you can find a PC with XP on it that maybe one of your relatives is throwing away that would handle GP2... I was just on Tigerdirect..com today and they even have $200 PC's with XP on them that would easily run GP2.... I mean you pay $60 dollars for a game why not spend $200 on a PC to play your long lost beloved game?

Its really a matter of how much you truly love the game as it seems you do? So why not?

Well if anyone "really" wants to make a move towards being serious about setting times to real time scoreboards again then all you need to do is ask how and I would be more than willing to walk you through the process and trouble shoot any possible problems you may have..

Instead of Xboxlive chat and scoreboards imagine Teamspeak as your chat home and Network-Challenge the guardian of your lap times..

If enough interest is evident then you will see competition and the word will get out and people will join, but the ball needs to get rolling....

If your going to wait around for a MotoGP game with the crack that GP1/2 provided or for games on demand to release GP2 then don't hold your hand on your @ss!

Stand up and be counted!

Last effort!

I wouldn't be interested in the pc myself, might be some others maybe? but I reckon a lot like me just like to plug & play, plus maybe shift their 360's to friends/relatives for a play.
Wish you well Walk matePosted Image

Yes it is the only way to go....

So lets Go Go Go, lol......

I'll tell ya, Gp2 is very addicting... I'm at this weird stage where I'm getting the splits to do a low 23 at Mugello but I always finish with a 24 and I know its because I'm not carrying the momentium throughout the whole track til the end..... Why do I want to get a 22 I don't know? But its fun trying...

Current racers
HondaC90i
MRCSteve
MRCAlbani
SlowMo
Suzuki
WALKEN
Dan

Silentgamer86 said he will race when I hit him up on Yahoo IM, Paddy said he'd look into getting it going on his end? I called Desmo/WhoDaFunk but haven't heard back from him... Also InitialDrift86 said he is down for racing again! I hit Pistol up on Capcom Europe? Thats 12 people right there and it will only keep getting bigger...

" Wellcomeback Walken ... the fantastic Gp2 game need player's and i hope thet the same old players will join again this game..so i made for u a Golden Bike for wellcomeback :D Image & i can effort this for evry one joins the game again . see ya soon."

That is a post MRCAlbani made for me at N-C... Very nice people there!

Hondac90i is hosting races on Thrusdays 5 hours ahead of eastern time as well.... So we have 7 solid players and a few stragglers that I'm sure will be more consistant in the future aswell as players that are time freaks that will defend their times....

I sure wish you would take a spin Joe! I know if you did then the people at this camp would see that and have to join:) Besides I know you say your a plug and play guy but I'm sure you can set it up... If not have Ste set you up then its just play, forget the plug!

WALKEN out!

Busy with life at the moment so I was hopin' they'd maybe get gp2 on the marketplace (no chance) just so I could grab an occasional race.

Wish you all well racin'Posted Image

X-crap community is really missing something.....i got gp2 set up for pc since saturday and each time i open a lobby it fill up in no time with great people and awesome riders, i have such a great time playing...the addiction is back...the game is the best gp and community is great to.

Come on guys, the game is the same, easy to setup and look 10 time better than on x-crap....and the most important, fun to play unlike the garbage thq gave us with the more recent game.

Long time i did not enjoyed my self like that.... My wife hate the fact i got back playing gp2 but she told me that in 5 year relationship she never saw me with that kind of joy in life and she think im beautiful with that permanent smile on my face.

What you guy are doing get a cheap pc and join us for great racing sessions

And if you like poorly made thing that were made only for cash and falling for no reason gp3 and gp07 are still going on pc

MOTO GP NEVER DIE, it's not R.I.P. , it's still going, where are you guy's'.... Wake up

Great to read you're enjoyin' yourself DANPosted Image

As I said to Walk, tad busy with life at the moment. Can't help feelin' there's still an openin' to re-release gp2 on the 360 marketplace, ok it'd have to be tinkered with so that all options are present such as fully configured controller, etc. There's plenty who missed out on the first wave of gp on LIVE having only joined later in the series, the refinements made as the series progressed (?) in many ways took away the core basic pleasure Posted Image Even "topics" regardin' gp2 get more hits these days, which goes to show something.

Axle, unless you want to? You can just download a already zero brake (or others) bike at Network-Challenge.org

Saves you the hassle of going through the entire game to build a bike...

Heads up, in terms of controllers you have 2 choices that are proven (xbox360pad/XBCDredcloudDriver) or (Ps3pad/MotioninJoyDriver) If you are using windows 7 you can not highlite the controller configure tab on the GP2 launcher hence you will have to emulate keyboard strokes, easy stuff.

Yesterday 16:00 pacific time.... God dam it, the picture i took is to big to put in here....

Had a crazy lobby going with 12 top players....was impossible for me to finish a race above 6th place with my little suzuki baby

Mmmm still not enough old x box guys lol....some are really missing something

Getting myself a 200 dollars refurbished windows xp PC is the best investment i did to entertain myself in year. After all those year and money wasted on x box i finally realized what and where the real deal was, finally found competition.

Install it and install Gamespy when it asks during installation... Get your Xbox360 wired pad and plug it in and configure it. Go to Network- Challenge and download a bike already built and play.... To set times to N-C just download the recorder and run it while your playing....

PS- I did email you not sure if you got it?

Yep.

http://pc.gamespy.co.../1227460p1.html

Better late than never is sometimes true but in your case Curve, not so.... You can still play GP1/2 online through IPs using Hamachi. So instead of going on Gamespy and looking for matches you will have to arange matches through a site then post the Hamachi isp # and then play... Very simple stuff...
