I remember a while back a couple of people showing us their brand new fancy HD TVs, and ultimate gaming / home cinema set ups.. and now I've finally entered the HD era I was wondering what everyone else's look like :)

At Daz's request I'll post my pics up here as soon as it's set up and tidy!! - my set only came today so it won't even be out of the box for another 5 hours!!!

So come on guys and gals... show us what you've got :D

Did anyone else immediately do what I did, ie 'ave a look at the "telly" too see how DAZ is doin' (in game) :D

Here's my setup, changed slightly now as there's no PS2+ wheel (360 sit's in there now), also the whole thing is now enclose with slidin' doors, reason bein' I can get total darkness when-ever (plus the neons look cool), also I don't annoy everyone in the house as it cuts out the noise. :D

The next thing I'll get is a smallish LCD screen (droppin' in price all the time)

So what you're telling us jOe is that you have your very own games cupboard?! Do these sliding doors have a lock on them and if so, is it on the inside or the outside? :D

That takes me back Joe (not that far, admittedly ) - maybe I should show mine with, and without the wheel??

That steering wheel really is the best thing about GT4. I might have to set it up and try it in 480p over the weekend :D

yep, no locks, no radiator either, mind you it doesn't need one as the 360 "warms it up a treat" :D

"MERSYSIDER IN MULTI ACCIDENT SHOCKER!" Mr H. Joe was found when his interestingly named son, xXSTEXx opened the under stairs cupboard door to find his father, controller in hand, submerged within his self contained shower unit/gaming zone. xXSTEXx was saved from a soaking himself only due to the superb craftmanship that went into creating the shower cubicle. Mr Joe had even been able to render his controller waterproof by using sawfega and pre melted minstrel coatings. He was, it seems, fond of showering, and even floating in his 'gamercule.' However he had not taken into consideration the residue of latent body heat generated by intense prolonged gaming and it's interaction with the mini fridge he had installed inside the shower unit to provide him with fresh, cool beer. As to how he drank the perfectly chilled beer, all we can say is that it involved a scuba mask, a snorkle and ancient tibetan breathing techniques, learned during an 'overly long and mispent youth' - Mrs Joe. As it transpired and mispent youth or otherwise, it was these techniques which were to save his life. The elecricity generated by the mini fridge exponentially reacted with the energy amassed via his internal activities and a current of unknown quality was delivered into the water with which Mr Joe had been happily and harmlessly bobbing about in. The result was quite simply shocking. So shocking that, upon finding his stricken father, xXSTEXx (where do parents find these names...?) at first thought heds happened upon an intruder. Why? Well, the energy held within the water had not dissipated, rather it flowed in a continual circuit with Mr Joe acting the role of pertinent conducter and amplifier. To such and extent, in point of fact that every folicule in Mr Joe's head, folicules he'd been manfully calling dormant most of his adult life, were stimulated to such a staggering extent that young xXSTEXx found someone resembling Phineas Freek crossed with an early joe cocker, mam. So, the youg rescuer quicky activated the automated draining system and removed the fridges elecricity supply, being carefull, as only a 'gamer' could, not to disrupt the supply to the 'console'. Once removed from his beer, Mr Joe explained to his apparently unconcerned son how he had been in mid swig when the accident occured, so at the moment of conduction he was engaged in a tricky inbreath/drinking manouvre, which he fortuituosly found created enough of an air hole within his beer bottle for him to maintain a slowe circular breath in the hope that he was either, a)not as good a craftsman as he liked to tell everyone he was, B) the current would loose sustainability and dissipate, giving him use of his legs again, or c) someone would notice he was missing - not as foolish as it sounds but inapropriate in this case as the fellows he was racing against, 'in game' were used to his lagging behind and as they were partaking in a 'real laps' race of Brno, a circuit well known to racing officionados, were not expecting to see an awfull lot of him, bar the occasional subliminal passing. In the event xXSTEXx only opened the cupboard door because he mistakenly believed his father to be down at B & Q and fancied a quick run around in his 'new ferrari testarossa'!!
- Mr Joe set a new world record at Brno.
