hi all,

im new to the Xbox as i have always played the Playstation consoles and was wondering if you could give me any ideas of what backwards compatible games i could purchase to play on my Xbox 360. Im into racing, action, sport games in general.

Cheers

i dont reallyown much racing for the xbox so i cant help there but with action go for a GTA game (is that action?), and people always seem to love pro evo 5 but i havent played so im not sure. if you are at all interested in shooting games, the tom clany series got me into them majorly. splinter cell=stelth game, rainbow six=fps, ghostrecon= a bit of both.
or you could always wait and get moto gp 06 for the 360 :D

Yesterday saw the arrival of a new update for the 360 allowing a further twenty-one original Xbox games to be played using the backwards compatibility functionality. The list of games is a little disappointing although many will be pleased to see support for Doom 3. It's nice to see the list of BC games steadily growing though, long may it continue.
  • 4x4 EVO 2
  • Amped 2
  • Bad Boys 2
  • Big Mutha Truckers
  • DOOM 3
  • Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
  • Fatal Frame
  • FlatOut
  • Grabbed by the Ghoulies
  • Intellivision Lives
  • LEGO Star Wars
  • Minority Report
  • MLB SlugFest 20-04
  • The Punisher
  • RalliSport Challenge
  • Silent Hill 4: The Room
  • Spawn Armageddon
  • Spider-Man
  • Star Wars Battlefront
  • State of Emergency
  • Zapper

I'm probably on my own on this :angry2: one but why is Brian Lara Cricket not backwards compatible, it's not the best cricket game by any means but at least it was playable unlike EA Sport's pathetic attempt.

i've not played Marvel V's Capcom since January and i'm having severe withdrawal symptoms and i'm absolutly gagging to play this again :D

will this game ever grace this console?, please, someone help me as i can't stop this foaming in my mouth.

You are not alone Jonny, I trawl through this list of updates hoping one day to see the Lara but it's still not here, like you say, it's not the best thing but it's kept me and my mates well entertained on many an evening, as well as being the only way you can see England thrash Australia! Pull your finger out m$

If the game is on the list of XBox titles that are compatible with the 360 then you will be able to play them via Xbox Live

From that Gamespot thing:

Quote

Barbie Horse Adventures runs on the Xbox 360 because it uses technology similar to that of the [Grand Theft Auto]series.

WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
