Well, what can I really say? Reguardless of what I continue to write, the majority of the population will purchase Black Ops 2 within the first month of the launch. I could go on to say that Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is a glittery illuminescant seahorse with a rucksack full of toasted watermelons and oh look, the pre-order count just went up by three.

I can try and be bitter about the game and further my cause on the war against COD but hey, the time I spent with Black Ops 2 was good, I cant deny that, and that’s why millions of us play it on a weekly basis. The event allowed players to try out Kill Confirmed and Team Deathmatch. Obviously, nothing really new with the game types but it gave us a chance to try out the new furturistic weapons. Or, at least I thought.

Not gonna lie, this games set how many years into the future? Twelve? And we’re still using AN-94’s and the like in battle? Nothing weapon wise has changed much, only the gun might have a more squarish look to it, cos everythings square in the future. Damn you Minecraft.

So with the not so imaginative, or even new weaponry, what about the levels? Well, not much going on there either. Of the two games, one was set in a dockyard, the other in a bombed out city block. Maybe its just me but at this point Im beginning to feel the creativity is starting to slurr. We’re using the same weaponry, in ever so familiar places. I want something at least slightly more futuristic. Cmon.

We didn’t really get the time to have a fiddle with all the perks and extras in the matches due to the time restrictions however they’re all there and waiting for you to unlock as you head to that first prestige.

So, unexpectantly, Black Ops 2 doesn’t really change much in the sense of the First Person Shooter, it hasn’t done for awhile so why start now. The futuristic setting could lead to a lot more creativity but is that what COD fans want? Only time will tell.
