Xboxliveaddicts present the Ultimate Halo 3 Tournament!

Xboxliveaddicts in association with Xbox UK are looking for a Captain to lead and help train a team of celebrities, football legend Rio Ferdinand, Gadget Show presenter Jason Bradbury, T4 presenter Jameela Jamil and England Rugby player Ben Cohen (all gamer and Halo fans) against a team of gamers. We are looking to the UK community to find the ultimate UK Halo Team and the Ultimate Halo Team captain. Do you think you have what it takes?

To find this Ultimate Halo Team captain and ultimate UK Halo Team, two sets of tournaments on Halo 3 will be played from Xboxliveaddicts with the winners going through to finals against other winners from various participating sites;

1) The first is a solo tournament held over the weekend of 14/15th August to find the Ultimate Team Captain for the Celebrity Elite Spartan Squad.

The solo winner from Xboxliveaddicts will compete against other winners from various participating sites to find an overall Solo winner on 21st/22nd August (details to be announced), will then be announced as 'Ultimate Team Captain for the Celebrity Elite Spartan Squad' and be required to attend boot camp during the week commencing 30th August with the celebrities to prepare for their big match against the ultimate UK Halo Team in mid- September. They will have travel and hotel costs covered for the entire week.

2) The second is a team tournament to look for the opposing team (the ultimate UK Halo Team) to play them.

The winning team from Xboxliveaddicts will then go through into a further round on the 15th/16th August with other winning teams from various participating sites to find the Ultimate Team to play the celebrities' Celebrity Elite Spartan Squad captained by the Ultimate Halo Team captain in September.

Please ensure you are over the age of 16 and can attend boot camp during the week commencing 30th August before entering Solo Tournaments and that all team members are also 16+.

Solo Tournament -14th/15th August;

Halo Reach "Looking For a Leader" Solo Slayer Tournament

To enter, simple reply in this thread with your Gamertag. Tournament will be on Halo 3 (time to be announced) and using Slayer mode continuing until we have a winner who will then go through to the Solo final on 21st/22nd August.

Prizes:

The winner from Xboxliveaddicts will receive a copy of Halo Reach and a 3 month LIVE membership.
The Runner up will receive 800 MS points.

Rules;

Absolutely no glitching anybody found to be glitching will be disqualified.
Must be 16+ and a member of Xboxliveaddicts.

Solo Finals - 21/22nd August;

The winning Soloist from various participating sites will go through to an overall final to find the Ultimate Halo Team Captain who will be required to attend boot camp during the week commencing 30th August with the celebrities to prepare for their big match against the ultimate UK Halo Team in mid- September.

Host and mode details to be announced.

Prizes:

The overall winner from the final will also receive a Limited Edition Xbox 360 and hold the prestigious position of Captain for the Celebrity team.

Team Tournament - 14/15th August;

Halo Reach Ultimate Team to take on the Celebrity Elite Spartan Squad

Xboxliveaddicts, in association with Xbox UK are proud to present the Ultimate Team to take on the Celebrity Elite Spartan Squad Tournament hosted on 14-15th August 2010.

Xbox UK are looking for a 6 player team to take on a group of gamer celebrities.

Register your interest in this forum thread and leave your team name, team captain Gamertag and 5 team members Gamertags. Games will be hosted on the weekend of 14-15th August 2010 (format and time to be announced). The top from various participating sites going through to a final.

Prizes:

The winning team from Xboxliveaddicts will receive a copy of Halo Reach and a 3 month LIVE membership each.
The Runner up team will receive 800 MS points.

No team members swapping, once we have the names of your team those are the ones who will play.
Absolutely no glitching anybody found to be glitching will be disqualified.
All members of the team must be 16+ and members of Xboxliveaddicts.

Team Tournament final -15th August;

The winning team from various participating sites will go through to an overall final. Host details to be announced closer to the time.

The overall winning team will then go up against the Celebrity Team in mid-September in the grand final.

Prizes:

The overall team winners from the finals (15th/16th August) will also receive a limited edition Xbox 360 each and play the celebrity team in mid-September.
